You need to check your math. 300 million people - 75% are over 18 = 225 million If the gov't gave 85 billion to the American people, that would come out to just under $400 for each person.

If a buyer is unable to put AT LEAST 5% (preferably 10-20%) down on a house, they have no business purchasing that house! Why do you think we are in this mess to begin with? People who couldn't afford homes were given loans for them anyway.

Ok, so I am currently insured under the federal government's health care plan (the same plan the senators get) as I am a federal employee. Let me tell you - this is the BEST health insurance I have ever had in my life.
